- 6:45-7:15 AM let out and breakfast is served
- 9:30-10:00 AM we play outside so bring your toys
- 1:00-1:30 PM another outing for playtime
- 4:30-5:00 PM let out and then supper is served
- 6:30-7:00 PM is "defeeding" and playtime
- 9:30-10:00 PM This last let out is quiet time before bedtime snacks are served (Please, no visits during this time frame.) Our schedule is fairly fixed (only changes when heavy rains are coming and we altar to get the dogs out to play early or late) so the dogs know what to expect and know when we are going to play or feed.
- All check ins and check outs to occur during these times. This creates a calm environment so the guests can settle in for naps between playtimes.) This schedule also works well if you want to check us out unannounced......please do so during our timeframes listed above. Please be advised, if you come unannounced, we may already have an appt and you may have to wait.
- We are also closed from Jan 24, 2012 - Feb 7 2012.
- We have been open for business since May 1, 2007
- New construction purpose built boarding facility with your pet's comfort in mind
- Heated tile floors
- Large play areas with 6' chain link fencing for your pet's safety (approx .4 acre)
- The fenced area is divided into 8 areas so your dog can safely play individually
- 20 individual bedrooms with visual barrier to provide personal privacy for each guest
- Two specialty rooms for 3 larger dogs or 4-5 small dogs (from the same family)
- Outside covered terraces for protection from the weather
- Owners on site to ensure cleanliness and care
- We will administer existing prescriptions from your vet and supplements (please note that if your meds or treatments are time consuming there may be an extra charge). Please ask ahead if you think this may affect you. All pills should be in a daily pill organizer with your pet's name clearly written on it as well as the medicine name and what it is for.
- We provide bowls and beds if needed. (Guests bring their own fresh bedding which is welcome. Bowls are NOT needed.)
- We clean out the kennels daily and as needed.
- The large play areas are kept free of dirt as we pick up as the dogs go. This allows us to ensure the health status of our guests.
- When you check out, you will find that your pet will not have a "kennel odor" because of our high standards. We are governed and inspected by the NB SPCA and pass their guidelines.
- Since May 1, 2007, we have lodged over 700 dogs and can provide references if needed.
- We like to get to know our guests before they check in. To facilitate that, we offer a complimentary (but mandatory) "meet & greet" for first timers. It is about a half hour meeting here at the Lodge. We find this investment in your dog allows him/her to get to know us and helps build mutual trust. When you check your dog in, he/she is much more relaxed because of this policy. Sorry no exceptions.
